What You’ll Do
Design, implement, and optimize proprietary libraries and machine learning pipelines that power large-scale research and trading systems
Build and scale distributed and cloud-powered computing infrastructure to support complex AI, ML, statistical, and scientific workloads
Leverage modern computer architectures to improve system throughput and cost efficiency
Collaborate with global teams of world-class engineers and researchers across North America, Europe, and Asia
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across software, operating systems, and distributed environments
Qualifications
Strong experience in C++ and/or Python
Deep understanding of systems programming, HPC, or parallel and distributed computing
Familiarity with high-performance computer architectures and modern compute hardware
Proven experience with performance tuning at multiple layers - from OS to distributed systems
Background in ML systems, algorithms, or numerics is highly desirable
Strong problem-solving mindset and interest in building scalable, high-efficiency computing solutions
