What You'll Do

• Build and optimize trading systems, research clusters, databases, and support tools in a high-performance computing (HPC) environment.

• Develop automation using Python and Bash to enhance monitoring and maintenance workflows.

• Collaborate with developers, researchers, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

• Tune operating systems and batch workflows for optimal throughput and reliability.

• Manage all aspects of HPC infrastructure, including schedulers, filesystems (Lustre, VAST, GPFS), GPUs, and interconnects.

• Lead capacity planning and system design to ensure efficient scaling and performance.

• Diagnose and resolve performance issues through deep system analysis and monitoring tools.

  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of experience building and supporting Linux and/or Windows-based HPC environments.

• Strong understanding of OS internals, performance tuning, and diagnostic tools.

• Hands-on experience automating workflows with Python or similar languages.

• Experience with parallel filesystems (Lustre, GPFS, VAST) and resource schedulers (SLURM, HTCondor, etc.).
