What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance Linux environments that power trading systems and research platforms.

  • Optimize and tune Linux systems, kernels, and network stacks to achieve ultra-low latency and high throughput.

  • Collaborate with trading technologists, researchers, and developers to ensure infrastructure stability, scalability, and performance.

  • Manage system configurations, automate workflows, and monitor performance to ensure seamless trading operations.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure reliability, security, and efficiency.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Linux systems in high-performance or trading environments.

  • Strong understanding of Linux kernel internals, system tuning, and performance optimization.

  • Experience with modern Linux distributions (CentOS/RHEL, Ubuntu) and their packaging systems.

  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tooling.

  • Solid knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and performance tuning for low-latency systems.

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Exposure to FPGA, kernel bypass technologies, or specialized networking hardware is a plus.

  • Experience with high-performance computing or distributed systems environments.

  • Knowledge of real-time or specialized Linux kernel variants preferred.
